It's been a creative couple of months!
EP release

A few weeks ago, cellist Rebekah Woodier and myself released our first EP, Beacons. We've been playing and writing together for a few years, and managed to get funding to record a few tracks. We came up with the image of a lonely mythical lighthouse, and wrote the pieces as vignettes set around this location, with atmospheres ranging from soaring to stormy to warm and cozy. You can listen on all your streaming platforms here, or support us on Bandcamp; the release is digital-only, but I have one-of-a-kind, handmade prints as a small physical token of thanks which you can order alongside a digital copy.
New sheet music
I also sat down and notated some of my favourite things to play. So new up on the shop are a solo version of Ink Spills (you may have heard this tune on the Willow Trio's Bestiary album), and Fern. Fern is a slightly odd one for me to notate, as in the 8 or so years since I originally wrote it, it has undergone huge changes, and will likely keep doing so (it likes to grow and be repotted! Plant-themed!). The version that I uploaded is a transcription of how I currently play it, a mashup of the first version from my Souvenirs EP and the Lore version, but also different from both. So I guess it may contain a few surprises!
Click the images below to be taken to the respective shop pages. I'm also on Harp Column Music, if you prefer to use that platform. Happy playing!

Upcoming gigs
I have a few concerts planned this summer with Rebekah to present our EP and some other various bits we have been playing, including an Edinburgh Fringe date in August. I'm also doing 2 solo gigs in the Netherlands in early September, including one at fantasy festival Evermore! Take a look at my live dates page to find out more.
